Lieutenant Colonel (Ret) Michael P. Good, USAF

Lieutenant Colonel (Lt Col) Good retired from the United State Air Force on 1 September 2017.  He began his military career in 1990 by enlisting in the US Army.  After graduating from Florida International University, Miami, Florida, Lt Col Good entered the Air Force and earned his commission in 1998 through Officer Training School at Maxwell Air Force Base (AFB), Alabama.  Upon commissioning, he was assigned to Randolph AFB as a Transportation Officer, where he was assigned to the 12th Transportation Squadron as the Combat Readiness and Resources Flight Commander.  Shortly thereafter, he was designated to attend Undergraduate Navigator Training, graduating in 1999, and ultimately beginning his flying career as a C-130 navigator.  While stationed at Ramstein Air Base, Germany; Little Rock AFB, Arkansas; Cheyenne Regional Airport (Wyoming Air National Guard), Wyoming; Maxwell AFB, Alabama; Scott AFB, Illinois; and Naval Station Rota, Spain he served in a variety of operational and staff positions, culminating his career as Commander, 725th Air Mobility Squadron, Naval Station Rota, Spain.  He has forward deployed multiple times in support of Operations ENDURING FREEDOM and IRAQI FREEDOM and is married with three children. He currently serves as the CA-933rd AFJROTC Senior Aerospace Science Instructor at Temecula Valley High School, Temecula, CA.
