  • If you are interested in auditions for one of our amazing dance teams, now is the time! We are having virtual auditions schedualed for FEB 27st 2021 for our JV dance teams, Vicious and Intellect. As well as tryouts on FEB 28 2021 for our Varsity dance teams, Synergy and Agi*lity.

    Submit tryout packet via google forms by feb 26 2021 by midnight.

    Once you submit your packet, be on the look out for an email with further tryout details. Go Pumas!

  • WELCOME TO OUR DANCE PAGE! 

     

    Our program currently offers all 3 levels of dance: Beginning, JV and Varsity. I have 4 amazing teams that I direct. Our JV dance teams are named Intellect and Vicious. Our Varsity dance teams are named Agi*lity and Synergy! I am so lucky and blessed to work with amazing dancers everyday. I truly believe in every single one of my dancers. Dance is so much more than dance, and I am dedicated to guiding my dancers in the program to be the best versions of themselves. Our dance teams work hard, give back to the community, stay humble, and work together to be successful as a team!

  • Dance Teacher Bio

    Hello and Welcome to our dance program page! My name is Ms. Gallegos and I have been working at Chaparral for 2 years and I absolutely love what I do. The students are my purpose and it is my mission to help guide and lead my students to becoming great leaders, team players, and hard workers.

    I have danced since the age of 4 and haven't stopped dancing since. I grew up dancing at local dance studios and was a leader of my high school JV and Varsity teams. I danced on my college dance team for 3 years at CSUSB - Go Yotes! I owned my own dance studio for 3 years prior to becoming a teacher and I really believe that helped shaped me into the teacher I am today.

    Being the Vice President of Dance for California Association of Health, PE, Recreation and Dance (CAHPERD) has been both rewarding and humbling.

    I have my Bachelor's Degree in Kinesiology, 2 credentials in APE and GPE! Working with SPED and Bridge students is such a blessing and I see potential in every single student. I am currently in my final stretch to finishing my Masters at GCU this June!
