You have 1 week from the day you are absent to make up an assessment.
After 1 week, you will receive a mark of “Missing” and any retake will go under the retake category.
Remember you get 1 retake per learning target. (Last day May 31st)
The lowest of the 3 grades in each learning target will be dropped. Use them wisely.
Each quiz and test will be graded slightly differently due to content, difficulty and district provided assessments/guidelines. However, the rubric below is generally used to grade all assignments.
In addition to a level 3 performance, in-depth inferences and applications go beyond what was explicitly taught in class.
No major errors or omissions regarding any of the information and/or processes that were explicitly taught in class.
No major errors or omissions regarding the simpler details and processes, but major omissions or errors regarding the complex ideas and processes.

Flipped Classroom Sign up for EdPuzzle. From now until the end of this semester we are going to try the flipped classroom. This means that we will take notes at home and do the homework in class. To do this you will need to sign up for EdPuzzle
