Dear TK Students and Families,

Welcome to Paloma Elementary School!  We are so excited to begin your child's educational journey with you. As you prepare for the upcoming school year, we want you to know some very important things:

1.  School begins Wednesday, August 15th - All TK students will attend school with their parents.  Parents are expected to stay for an orientation with their student and all students will go home with their parents at the conclusion of the orientation.  We expect the orientation will last approximately 1 to 1 1/2 hours.  The orientation for ALL TK students will begin at 8:55 am.

2.  TK students will have lunch every day.  Please prepare a lunch for your child for all school days, beginning Thursday, August 16th.  If your child would like to buy lunch, we will explain those procedures at the orientation.

TK & Kindergarten Flag Salute

TK & Kindergarten students will not attend Friday Flag Salute with 1st-5th grade students. Last year, we shifted our practice because the Friday Flag Salute was excluding all of our Late Birds. With feedback and support, we were able to start a new Flag Salute and it has been incredible.

TK & K Flag Salute will be held once a month, in the MPR, just for TK & K.  It will occur on a Wednesday from 9:00 - 9:30. During this assembly, we will share announcements, build school spirit, and celebrate student accomplishments with all of our TK & K students, Early Birds & Late Birds, all at once.
