    • Step 1: REQUIRED DOCUMENTS
      Review the list of Required Documents listed below to ensure you have the appropriate items to register your student.

    • Step 2:  ANNUAL PARENT AND STUDENT NOTIFICATION
      Parents are required to read the Annual Notification of Parents' Rights (click here to access this document, which is located in the Centralized Enrollment Public Google Folder) before beginning the online registration process. After reviewing the packet, if you wish to complete a media release and/or directory information release, print these documents out, complete and return to your child(ren)s school(s).

    • Step 3:  ONLINE REGISTRATION - OLR - FOR NEW STUDENTS ONLY

    • Step 4:  SCHEDULE AN APPOINTMENT WITH CENTRALIZED ENROLLMENT

    • Step 5:  BRING ORIGINALS TO DISTRICT

      • Required Documents for Identity & Residency Verification Form + required documents to show proof of residency
      • Affidavit of Residency Form (Required only if sharing a residence)

Student Welfare and Success (SWS)

  • Foster Youth

    “Foster child” means a child who has been removed from his or her home pursuant to Section 309 of the Welfare and Institutions Code (“WIC”), is the subject of a petition filed under Section 300 or 602 of the WIC, or has been removed from his or her home and is the subject of a petition filed under WIC section 300 or 602.

    The McKinney-Vento Homeless Assistance Act (McKinney-Vento Act) (42 U.S.C. § 11431-11435) is federal legislation that ensures the educational rights and protections of children and youths experiencing homelessness.

New Students entering Temecula Valley Unified School District

  • New students are defined as brand new to the district.  Students returning to the district after attending a school outside of TVUSD are also considered new.

     

2019/20 Kindergarten and Transitional Kindergarten (TK) Enrollment

  • Registration for the 2019-20 school year will open December 3, 2018. After that date, please follow the directions below for registration.

    Please note:  Kindergarten Entry-Age in California

    • SB 1831 changes the kindergarten entry age in CA from five years old by December 2, to five years old by September 1.
    • Kindergarten Entry-Age - 5 Years of age on or before:
      • September 1, 2019 for the 2019-20 school year.
    • Transitional Kindergarten is offered to all students whose birthday falls between September 2 – December 2, 2014.

    • Please note: registration is handled at the Centralized Enrollment Center, not at the school sites.

New Student Enrollment for 2019-2020

  • Online Registration for new students grades 1-12 will begin on Monday, April 15, 2019.

Kindergarten/Transitional Kindergarten (TK) Enrollment for 2018/19 School Year

  • Online Enrollment for Transitional Kindergarten (TK) and Kindergarten is now open.  Please visit the Kindergarten Enrollment Webpage below for the online process, forms, and dates.
