Welcome to my Language Arts class! This is my 24th year of teaching.    

I grew up in Torrance, California.  I am from a big family.  I have three brothers and one sister.   I attended Cal State Dominguez Hills in Carson, California and I played soccer there on a scholarship.  I also earned my Master's Degree in English with a minor in Art, and my teaching credential from the same school.  My first teaching job was 5th grade at an elementary school in Torrance, California.

I moved to Murrieta in 2001 with my husband and two sons.  My oldest son is now 24 years old and my youngest is 21. 

I have experience teaching many different grade levels, from kindergarten all the way up to 8th grade.  For the past 10 years, I have been teaching only middle school! I have been working in Temecula now for 8 years as a Language Arts Specialist and Language Arts Teacher.  I feel blessed to be working here at Bella Vista with such a fantastic staff and student body! 

When I am not teaching, I enjoy running, reading, watching movies, listening to music, cooking (and eating, of course), and visiting with friends and family.
