Mrs. Dana Hayes

Welcome to 8th grade Language Arts. My name is Dana Hayes and I am thrilled to be part of a great team here at Bella Vista Middle School. I am looking forward to a very successful and exciting year.

This is my 20th year in the Temecula Valley Unified School District. I graduated from Azusa Pacific with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Human Development and a Master of Arts degree in Education with an emphasis in Teaching, as well as a Multiple Subject Credential with Clad and a Single Subject Credential in English. I meet all standards for the No Child Left Behind Act.

I have lived in Temecula Valley for over 26 years with my husband Jason, my daughter Kylee, and my son Nathan. I love spending time with my family, the beach, I love to read, and I am a big football fan ~ Go Chargers!!  My daughter graduated from ASU, and now lives in New York City as an Editorial Project Manager for a Book Publishing Company  ~ Go Sun Devils!  My son graduated from NAU, and now lives in Phoenix, as a Business Operations Associate - Go Lumberjacks!

I am a teacher because I enjoy helping students realize their full potential while challenging their abilities and having them experience fun, meaningful, interesting learning that applies to their lives. I am anxious to begin our year together. Class expectations will be high, but I'm always here to help and encourage students along the way.
