Teaching Background
This is my 17th year teaching in the TVUSD school district. I have taught 6th, 7th, and now 8th grade social studies. Prior to coming to Gardner Middle School, I was a fifth grade teacher for several years at Crowne Hill Elementary School. Although I enjoy teaching all subjects, my true passion is history, as well as utilizing technology and art to enhance student engagement and learning.
Other Professional Experience
Prior to becoming an educator, I spent 10 years in the private sector as a project manager in the web design and internet marketing industry.
My other passions include spending time with my family, being outdoors (glamping, hiking, fishing), and volleyball. For the past five years, I've coached 14s at VIper Volleyball Club.
