I guess I could sum up my Bio by calling myself a Christian, Father, Husband, Teacher, and Athlete.

Christian:  I have had a personal relationship with Jesus Christ since I was 17 years old.  Although it is a large part of my personal beliefs, I do not proselytize to the students.  My job as a public educator is to care for and educate the students, not to espouse my personal faith on others... unless they ask.

Father:  I have three children who have all gone through the public school system here in Temecula and all of them were high school athletes.  Allie - Track and Volleyball  (Class of 2015), Jenna Track and Soccer (Class of 2018), and Andrew Soccer and Volleyball (Class of 2020).

Husband: I have been married to my best friend Dana since 1993.  She is also a school teacher in our district at Chaparral High School.

Teacher: I started my teaching career at Richland Elementary in San Marcos (North San Diego County) in 1993 - 1995.  In 1995 we moved to Temecula and I started working at Red Hawk Elementary,  I have taught 2nd-5th grades from '93-'03'  In 2003 I made the jump up to Middle School and helped open the Gardner.  My first year at GMS I taught, 6th Grade Social Studies, Science, and PE. Since then, I have been teaching all PE.

Athlete: I played Football, Basketball, and Baseball at San Pasqual High School in North San Diego County. I went to Cal Lutheran University on a baseball scholarship, and also played college volleyball and golf. I still love staying active and enjoy playing all organized sports, golf, surf, sail, and travel.
