Math Specialist and Instructional Coach

7th and 8th Grade Math Teacher

After teaching for over a decade at Great Oak High School, I became the Math Specialist here at GMS. This is my eighth year in this capacity. I teach 7th and 8th grade math classes, along with spending lots of time in our other math classrooms on campus and collaborating in lesson design with the math department.

I earned my BA in Mathematics at USC, a member of the rowing team all 4 years, traveling the country to compete at the highest levels.

I love giving students opportunities to deepen their understanding of mathematics (and talk about rowing, Dodgers vs Padres, CrossFit and college football).
