I am so excited to be teaching 5th grade this year at Temecula Elementary.  I have taught several grade levels in the Temecula School District since 2006 and I love being part of such a warm and supportive community.

I received my Bachelors in Advertising and Public Relations from The University of Nebraska at Kearney, and my teaching credential and Masters in Education from Azusa Pacific University. I grew up in San Jose, CA and also in a small town in Nebraska.  My love for California brought me back out here where I met my husband who is also from the midwest.  Together we have a wonderful daughter and son who keep us very busy. We love spending time outdoors and watching our kids play their sports.  I also enjoy movies and reading.  

Teaching has been a passion of mine before I ever had my own classroom.  Since high school I have been teaching swim lessons or volleyball, which eventually led me to pursuing my teaching credential.  Guiding a child to their fullest potential is the most rewarding gift!
