Welcome!  I am so excited to be your child's kindergarten teacher.  I was born in Los Angeles and moved to Vista in 1985.  I am the oldest of four girls and graduated from Vista High School in 1995.  I graduated from UCLA (and was actually born at UCLA hospital) where I received my BA in history and minored in Public Policy.  I received my credential from Cal State Northridge.

I began teaching in 2000 at Walgrove Elementary School in Venice, CA.  I taught 1st, 3rd, and 4th grade and led teacher trainings at the district science center at our site.  I began teaching at Nicolas Valley in 2004.  I taught 2nd grade and later seved as the Title I reading specialist at NVES.  I joined the kindergarten team in 2013.

I enjoy cooking, hiking, reading, and spending time at the beach.  I am happiest near or in a body of water. :)  My favorite pastime is spending time with my son.  We love baseball (Go Padres!), spending time at the beach, watching movies, and spending time with our family.
