Degrees and Certifications:

Mrs. Jessica Duff

Welcome to Kindergarten Room 4. I am Mrs. Duff. I have been teaching in the Temecula Valley Unified School District since 1993. I have taught K-3rd grade. I am currently teaching kindergarten. I absolutely love to teach this age. In my class, we work and play hard. I believe in consistent, systematic presentation of curriculum. That doesn't mean I don't like to have fun though. I think good teachers know how to blend both very well, so that kids make consistent progress but love all aspects of school. This is what I strive to do each and every day to help children blossom.

    Welcome to Room 4

Welcome back to school. We are off and running. Hold on tight because the first few months of kindergarten are a little like bootcamp.  We are busy learning rules, procedures, and expectations. All of this is very important to setting up a well running and cohesive classroom environment that helps each and every student be successful.

Homework goes home on Monday and kids have all week to work on it before returning to school on Friday. If extra time is needed it may be returned the following Monday. The homework sheet will contain the letter of the week, as well as sightword practice. New sightwords will be introduced, and old sight words will be reviewed each week.   In a few weeks,  we will be adding digital components to the homework and we will let you know about how and when to access these resources at that time.
