My name is Nathan Middleton and I am your child’s 3rd-5th SDC teacher this year. A little about me, I was born and raised in Southern California (Anaheim). I am married and have three children. Prior to teaching, I served in the military (Navy). After my separation from the service my family and I moved to the city of Winchester where I attended Azusa Pacific University and received my master’s degree. It was in the last semester within my master’s program the onset of the pandemic occurred and my career path changed course. I received great satisfaction and purpose helping my own children with their learning during the pandemic, as well as overcoming their learning challenges with the new online learning modality. It was during this time I chose to continue my education and pursue a teaching credential. As both someone who struggled personally with learning (K-12) and a disabled Veteran, I am personally invested into the support, safety, and development of your children.
