What is CAASPP?
On January 1, 2014, the California Assessment of Student Performance and Progress (CAASPP) System was established. The primary purpose of the CAASPP System is to assist teachers, administrators, students, and parents by promoting high-quality teaching and learning through the use of a variety of assessment approaches and item types.
When Do TVUSD Students Take the CAASPP?
Each spring, students in grades 3 through 8 and high school participate in the CAASPP.
When Are Student Scores Available to Parents?
Student assessment scores typically begin to arrive in May and continue through August. The scores are received on a rolling basis depending on when students took the assessments and when the scores are uploaded from the state department of education.
How Will I Receive My Student's Scores?
NEW! Beginning in May 2019, student scores will be delivered directly to their parent's/guardian's Infinite Campus Parent Portal. All TVUSD parents/guardians are sent an email in May with the attached letter and Step by Step Assistance Guide advising how to access the scores.
