Student Behavioral Expectations

  • SCHOOL BEHAVIOR PLAN

Creating a safe, positive learning environment for our students is a priority at Paloma.  Our knowledge and experience tell us that children learn best in an orderly environment where concerned staff members reinforce concepts of courtesy, cooperation, school pride, and mutual respect.  Student behavior is an integral component of this goal.

In an effort to maintain a positive, friendly, and productive learning environment where every child has the right to learn and every teacher has the right to teach, we adhere to a school-wide behavior plan.  We believe in teaching students how to behave, holding them accountable for their behavior, providing reinforcements for positive behavior, and issuing progressive discipline and consequences when students struggle.  Individual students are at the center of every component of behavior.
