PLEASE SEE THE ATTACHER FLYER ON CYBERBULLYING – THIS MESSAGE IS PROVIDED BY THE CITY OF TEMECULA FOR ALL PARENTS

Join us at the Temecula Conference Center (41000 Main Street) for the City of Temecula Local Task Force meeting on Wednesday, August 17, 2016, at 5:00 p.m.

The Temecula City Council Action Committee for Health and Family Safety (Local Task Force) was formed as an extension of the Regional Family, Youth, and Health Task Force, to serve as a grassroots advisory committee specific to the City of Temecula.

The Local Task Force is comprised of members of our community including youth whose goal is to develop initiatives to combat issues that affect the youth of the community. The mission of the Local Task Force is to engage community stake holders in a shared goal of creating a safer and healthier community for Temecula’s current youth and future generations.

The Local Task Force will welcome keynote speaker Jessica Emslie, from the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department, to discuss Cyber-Bullying. Ms. Emslie is a member of the SAFE/ICAC Team (Sexual Assault Felony Enforcement/Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force) program to help local, state and federal law enforcement agencies protect children and teens using the internet.

For more information, please call (951) 694-6480 or visit the City of Temecula website at: http://www.cityoftemecula.org/Temecula/Government/Meetings_and_Agendas/LocalTaskForce.htm.

On-site Financial Training Requests

All PTA members who will have access to PTA funds in any capacity must be financially trained!

This can be accomplished in one of two ways - members may attend financial training workshops hosted by TVC PTA at the Council offices, or unit Presidents and Treasurers may request additional training workshops via the form link included below.

Changes in 2016-2017

On-site training workshops are now for

cash-handling only.

General Financial Training workshops will be held in TVC PTA offices only.

When requesting on-site cash-handling training workshops, please leave enough time prior to your event to allow for scheduling,  or your request may not be able to accommodated.

On-site training workshops are available to be scheduled Tuesday-Thursday, in one of three time slots.

On-site training workshops are scheduled on a first-come, first-served basis, and based on training team availability.
