Surplus

Surplus Disposition Procedures and Forms

If you require our warehouse to pick up your surplus items, fax (951-695-7123) or email the following to your site's buyer. The Special Request for Warehouse Services form along with the Capital Equipment Disposition Form, and the Surplus Form along with any lists to Purchasing. 

 

Procedures


 

All equipment designated as no longer needed or not economical to repair must be accompanied by the following forms.

  • District Disposition form.  Capital Equipment Disposition Form
     
  • For multiple surplus items, you must use this Surplus Form  along with above-mentioned District Disposition form. You must fill out all fields on BOTH forms for the equipment being returned for surplus. Each pallet of surplus must have a sheet that identifies ALL items on that pallet. Returning several pallets with one sheet will not be accepted.
     
  • Anything sent for surplus under the value of $500 can be gathered and palletized without a record of serial number but must have description and model number,  if available, on the surplus form.
     
  • Anything sent for surplus over the value of $500 (and all computers)  should have serial number and asset tag number on the surplus form.
     
  • Pallets should be shrink wrapped in order to transport to the warehouse.  Contact your site's buyer if you need empty pallets or shrink wrap.
