TVUSD is proud to announce our partnership with Peachjar! In our continued efforts to GO GREEN, Peachjar will allow us to save paper, raise money for our schools and provide parents with easy access to information about upcoming community and youth activities and events.
How it works:
Our TVUSD school web sites will have a direct link to their school’s own Peachjar page where flyers will be posted. Parents can also sign up to have flyers sent to them via email.
There are four categories of flyers: Teachers & Staff, Parent Organizations, Our Community, and Enrichment Programs.
Why?
In the old days, a company would deliver bundles of paper flyers to a school site. Those flyers were then distributed to classrooms and placed into large envelopes that were sent home with each student weekly.
The problem is that many schools are facing reduced budgets, fewer staff, larger class sizes, and overall greater demands on teachers. Our district currently has nearly 12,000 elementary school students. Distributing flyers to that many students on a weekly basis has become too great a burden on our school staff and volunteers.
How do parents receive your flyers?
Parents who are registered on Peachjar will receive your flyer right to their email or smart phone along with their PTA flyers and school flyers. Parents who are not registered simply view the flyers online.

Consider this example: The average enrollment at an elementary school is 800.
The cost to print:
Black & White, Single-Sided flyers: 800 x 4¢ = $30
Color, Single-Sided flyers: 800 x 60¢ = $480
The cost to upload a flyer to Peachjar:
